The entire ProfitMill process is run on a one-to-one basis using experienced automation consultants working with your operations. No two clients are alike and therefore no two clients will go through identical programmes. Our approach is tailored to the requirements of the client giving emphasis on what will most benefit the clients unique goals. The process consists of:
Data Definition
Prior to visiting your site, we will send you a Data Requirement Document. This document defines the information needed to complete the benchmarking analysis:
- Some data you will have already
- Some data you can capture prior to the visit
- Some data we will capture on site
Site Visit
Our analysis strategy is presented to your plant or mill management, covering the goals, objectives and expectations of the process. During the site visit, interviews will be held with all levels of your operations including:
- Production
- Quality control
- Automation/instrumentation
- Management
The interview process is designed to investigate the operation and ensure there is a thorough understanding of the clients process and procedures.
In addition, data will be collected, processed and analysed as defined in the Data Requirement Document with support from the clients operations to validate the findings.
Benchmarking Analysis Report
The Benchmarking Analysis report will contain the following information:
- The potential economic benefits from the process
- Benchmarking comparison in key quality and performance areas against peer machines manufacturing similar grades
- Improvement recommendations to establish world-class performance
This final report will be presented by the ProfitMill expert to your management team, detailing the issues, improvement recommendations and the potential financial benefits.
